Red Nespresso Machine: The Top 5 Models

If, like me, you are fond of the color red and want to adorn your kitchen counter space with a red Nespresso machine that blends well with your interior, let me tell you that you’ve got options.

Nespresso machines come in different colors you can choose from and if you are worried about the features of a red Nespresso machine, we’ll cover the positives and negatives of these machines in the post.

First things first, let’s have a look at which options you have if you want to buy a red coffee machine. There are plenty of other companies offering red coffee machines but here we’ll only look at the models offered by Nespresso.

1. Nespresso by De’longhi Essenza Mini (Red)

If you’re looking for a red coffee machine, this machine is a great choice for various reasons. It gives you the option to brew an Espresso or Lungo, depending on your needs.

The most amazing feature about this machine is that it’s very compact and easy to use. All you need to do is fill the water tank, attach it to the backside of the machine, turn on the machine and wait for the lights to stop blinking, pop in a capsule, and voila! You can brew your espresso with just a touch now.

The machine is super-easy to carry if you’re traveling somewhere, you’ll need an electrical socket to run it as it’s not battery-charged.

The important thing to note is that the machine does not brew milk-based coffee as it doesn’t come with a milk frother. You’ll have to buy it separately if you like lattes and milk-based coffee.

Since this is not a review post and just a post about various options of red Nespresso machines available to you as a buyer. I also won’t make any recommendations as these are purely your own decisions. I’ll only highlight the features and potential flaws if any.

2. Nespresso Innissia (Red)

This is another great option if you have a small counter space saved up for a coffee machine and want to create a mini bar in your kitchen.

This is bigger in size than an Essenza Mini, however, it’s still compact enough for you to take it with you wherever you are traveling.

It’s a good option if you are a little tight on the budget. Its features are almost similar to the ones mentioned above for Essenza Mini.

The drip tray on this machine is foldable saving you space when you are not using the machine and also making it convenient for you to pack it if you are on the go.

There’s no power button on the machine it turns off automatically after 9 minutes of not using it. You could turn it off manually by pressing and holding the two buttons simultaneously for about 3-4 seconds.

3. Nespresso Vertuo Next (Red)

This is also a cool machine if you’re looking for a red Nespresso machine. It’s bigger than the two mentioned above and is not really travel friendly. But it’d go really well for your countertop in the kitchen.

Note that in Vertuo Next, only the head (top of the machine) is red and the red of the body is black. So if you are looking for a completely red machine, this might not do for you.

It’s also quite heavy so it’s difficult to carry it around if you are traveling. If you haven’t opted for a Plus machine, you’ll receive it with a plastic cup holder, whereas, if you go for the Plus version, you’ll get a stainless steel cup holder.

It’s more expensive than the other two above, but if you can find a good Black Friday or similar deal, you can get it around the same amount as the ones mentioned above.

Someone told me they bought theirs for CAD 99 with 25 dollars credit to be used on Nespresso Club. Theirs also came with 11 free pods, so I guess it’s not a bad deal at all if you are looking for a Nespresso.

4. Nespresso De’longhi Lattissima Plus

If you can spare a few extra bucks and can push your budget a little, this would be a great option for you.

It comes with a box of 16 capsules. The machine is quite heavy and big in size. It has four buttons at the top (Espresso, Macchiato, Cappuccino, and Latte) and a separate power button.

The top is red in color, and the body of the machine is black, so if you are looking for a purely red Nespresso machine, this might not work well for you. But the elegance of this machine is just beyond words.

It can brew milk-based coffee as it has separate tanks for water and milk. The rest of the functions are almost similar to any other Nespresso machine you might have owned.

5. Nespresso CitiZ

You can also buy this one in red. It’s a standard coffee machine, neither too big nor too small. It comes with a pack of 16 capsules.

It has a stainless steel adjustable cup holder and can also come with a milk frother. The base of the machine is quite big to accommodate the Aeroccino and a drip tray for Lungo.

The machine has two buttons at the top one for single and the other for Lungo. It contains a 34 Oz reservoir (water tank) making it possible for you to make multiple cups without having to refill it every time you brew a cup.

It is a bit noisy especially when it starts to operate but the noise reduces as it continues to brew the coffee.

The machine is quite easy to use, you’ll need to descale it every three months if you use it regularly. It’s not that difficult to maintain the machine.

Additional Information

There are other red Nespresso machine models as well but these were my top 5 picks as I’ve seen these work really well for people.

I also wanted to highlight the budget-friendly models so that everybody can have a taste of amazing Nespresso coffee.

I’ve also included top-of-the-line models like De’longhi which are on the higher side of the budget. Overall, these were the machines you should go for if you want to have a red cherry-like look on your countertop.
